GYM RULES
At Evolution Fitness, it's important all members adhere to the rules, so everyone has a good workout, and aren't inconvenienced, injured or unsafe. Thank you.
All members must sign in on arrival and out when leaving.
Wear suitable trainers at all times—bare feet, sandals, Crocs, work boots, or dirty footwear are not permitted. Train in appropriate gym clothing. Underwear posing is not allowed on the main floor—please use the Studio if posing.
Keep gym bags in lockers or storage areas, not on the workout floor. Ensure valuables and personal items are stored safely out of the way.
Be mindful of those around you—let people share equipment between sets. Give members enough space when training, especially in free weight areas. Keep workouts moving during peak hours—don’t hold up machines or areas for too long. Avoid hogging several pieces of equipment at once.
Handle equipment responsibly—do not drop or throw weights, bars, or machines. Always return dumbbells, plates, and other gear back to their proper place. Do not leave weights lying around or stacked on machines.
Wipe down machines, benches, and equipment after use with the provided wipes. Clean up any sweat, water, or spillages straight away. Dispose of rubbish in the bins provided.
Always show courtesy to staff, members, and gym equipment. Keep language and behaviour respectful—no swearing, shouting, or inappropriate conduct.
Maintain good hygiene—regular showers, deodorant, and clean gym kit are expected.
Seek approval before recording in the gym. Respect others’ privacy and avoid filming or photographing anyone without permission.
Non-members, children, and anyone under 14 are not permitted in the gym area.
If equipment is damaged or unsafe, inform staff immediately.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave straight away.
